Autumn treatment helps to solve the main problems associated with apple trees.
To protect trees from diseases that cause fruit spoilage, you need to prepare a proven remedy and treat the plants with it in September-October.
Apple trees most often suffer from scab, powdery mildew, gray and fruit rot and other fungal diseases.
Iron sulfate heals and protects trees. As a bonus, iron reserves are replenished. If there is a deficiency, chlorosis develops.
But the product is used at a time when the trees have already shed their leaves.
A 5% solution is prepared - 500 g of the substance per ten liters of water. The prepared solution is used to treat apple trees.
But it should be remembered that iron sulfate cannot be used together with copper sulfate or products containing lime (Bordeaux mixture).
