Lack of moisture and deficiencies in certain nutrients can also cause garlic to spoil.

How to solve this problem

Planting of spring garlic is done in late April or early May.

But it happens that at this time recurrent frosts may be observed.

Therefore, it is advisable to cover the garden bed with film to protect it from them.

You should not neglect watering the garlic. It must be abundant.

Moreover, the next day after watering, it is advisable to loosen the soil.

Fertilizers also play an important role in caring for garlic.

The plant may suffer from magnesium, potassium and nitrogen deficiency. This ultimately affects the yield.

How to feed

The first feeding should be done after the sprouts appear.

Add 1 tablespoon of urea to a bucket of water and water the beds with this solution.

A second feeding will be required in a month. Dissolve 1 tablespoon of potassium sulfate and the same amount of magnesium sulfate in a bucket of water.

It is advisable to water the bed first and then add this product.

The third feeding should be done during the period of head formation.

For this purpose, you can use ash or phosphorus-potassium compounds.
