Weeds will no longer be a problem if you use the experience of the great Russian scientist.

Dmitri Mendeleev was interested not only in chemistry. This multifaceted man was, among other things, keen on agriculture and was not averse to "digging around in the soil".

Mendeleev's garden was not unique, because weeds also bothered him. But he figured out how to solve this problem for a long time.

The recipe for the “Mendeleev” herbicide, which eliminates any weed, has survived to this day.

What you will need (for 10 liters of water):

  • 30 g of laundry soap shavings;
  • 30 ml oil;
  • 50 g sodium tetraborate (borax);
  • 500 g of gray potassium chloride.

Important: potassium chloride needs to be grey. It indicates a high chlorine content, which is exactly what is needed for this purpose.

Mix the components in water and treat problem areas. You can pour the joints of paving slabs or take 50-100 ml of the solution and pour it directly under the root of the malicious weed.

In a few days the grass will turn yellow and getting rid of this debris will be easy as pie.

The method is also good because the components of the solution do not linger in the soil, but evaporate or are washed away during rain or watering. And potassium will also serve as a fertilizer.
