Ants are useful insects, but not in the country.
Just look at their role in the spread of the main pest – aphids.
And the ants themselves can cause direct harm. They spoil flower beds and vegetable beds, gnaw sweet fruits. As a result, they cause a lot of problems for summer residents.
A separate situation is when we are talking about a greenhouse where the harvest is already ripening. Ants set up their homes here and begin to carry out subversive activities.
You have to be careful with chemicals here, because the harvest is already systematically ending up on the table.
In this case, a folk remedy comes to the rescue. Boric acid has proven itself well.
You need to take two boiled eggs, chop them and add to them ½ teaspoon of boric acid and sugar.
Next, add some flour and roll small balls. They need to be placed near anthills or in places where insects gather.
The secret of action is simple. Boric acid is poison for ants. Eggs can be replaced with minced meat or fish.
