One of the most common problems of many gardeners is solved simply, but there is a nuance.

Over time, summer residents are faced with the fact that the soil turns into "stone". It is no secret that plants grow better in soft and loose soil, especially root crops.

To avoid this problem, you need to add one component to the soil from time to time.

By the end of the season, a lot of organic waste accumulates on the site: leaves, hay, sawdust, small branches, etc. All this should rot and can be thrown under the digging.

This free raw material will make the soil soft as fluff. And if you supplement the composition with peat, sheep or horse manure, then the next year the yield will break all records.

In the fall, you can even add fresh manure. Everything will rot over the winter and the plants will not get any burns next year.

Note

Instead of manure or peat, you can add vermicompost to the organic waste from the site.

This waste product of earthworms is superior to manure in many ways. It does not contain weed seeds and does not have a strong smell.
