Ants in garden beds can create a lot of problems for gardeners.
But you can get rid of these insects using some simple means.
Agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh spoke about this in more detail.
To fight ants, you will need anise essential oil, because they cannot stand its aroma.
At the site of the anthill, use a shovel to make a small depression, about ten centimeters in size.
Take a piece of cloth or cotton wool and apply a couple of drops of oil. Then place the cloth with this product in the hole, lightly sprinkling it with earth.
As a result, the ants will rush to leave the home and soon there will be no trace left of them.
You can fight ants on your property using baking soda.
You can make stripes of soda around the plants. The acid produced by the ants can react with the soda.
This will repel insects. You can also sprinkle soda directly on the anthill.
Just keep in mind that the soda needs to be renewed from time to time.
