Representatives of the largest private banks in Turkey did not warn their clients about the ban on transactions with cards of the Russian bank Gazprombank.
We are talking about three Turkish banks: Denizbank, İş bankası and VakifBank.
Representatives of the aforementioned financial organizations confirmed this information in a conversation with RIA Novosti journalists.
It is noted that the press service of Gazprombank warned about problems with cash withdrawals from Unionpay cards. They are related to the introduction of sanctions against the bank itself and six of its subsidiaries.
However, representatives of Turkish banks did not warn their clients about this.
According to their information, difficulties with cash withdrawals are systemic. However, as the agency's correspondent saw for himself, when trying to withdraw funds, an error occurs and a suggestion to contact a Russian financial institution.
