Starting in 2025, three new additional payments will be provided for pensioners in Russia.
Several new additional payments for pensioners will come into force in the coming year.
Additional payment for pensioners and disabled persons of group 1
From January 1, elderly people over 80 years old and disabled people of group 1 will begin to receive 1,200 rubles monthly automatically, writes lawyer Irina Sivakova in the Telegram channel “Legal Subtleties”.
At the same time, the additional payment for caring for pensioners under 80 years of age and those who do not have a Group 1 disability will be cancelled.
Payments to widows of military personnel
Single widows of deceased military personnel with minor children will receive a pension.
The payment will be calculated from insurance, state and military pensions.
Return of indexation
From 2025, working pensioners will receive back annual pension indexation.
Missed years of indexation will be compensated after the official end of employment.
