First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Transport and Transport Infrastructure Development Pavel Fedyaev warned of a new fine for drivers from September 1.
According to Fedyaev, a new law will come into force that prohibits disembarking a certain category of citizens from transport.
The deputy explained: “From now on, it is prohibited to drop off disabled people of the first group and disabled children,” as reported by RIA Novosti .
For the corresponding violation, a fine is provided for drivers (5 thousand rubles) and for officials (up to 30 thousand rubles).
It is noted that a decree had previously come into force prohibiting the disembarkation of disabled people if they are unaccompanied or do not have a social card with them.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin approved a bill that introduces a fine for disembarking disabled people of group I from public transport.
Thus, in particular, a fine of up to 30 thousand rubles is prescribed for the specified offense.
The said initiative was accepted by Vladimir Vladimirovich at the beginning of June.
