A State Duma deputy spoke about whether a child in Russia has the right to sell an apartment.

The Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Property, Land and Property Relations, Sergei Gavrilov, spoke about this in an interview with the NEWS.ru portal.
He recalled the legislation that exists in the Russian Federation and applies to minors.
Children aged 14 years already have the right to participate in real estate purchase and sale transactions, provided that their guardians or parents give permission for this.
The exception is the so-called emancipated children. Teenagers can receive this status from the age of 16 if they provide proof of their solvency.
