The State Duma approved an amendment on increasing pensions for disabled people and pensioners
At a plenary session, the State Duma approved an amendment to increase pensions for disabled people of group I and pensioners.
The exception is Russians with Group I disabilities, who have been incapacitated since childhood and who are cared for by their parents or guardians.
The relevant details are placed directly in the explanatory note to the decree, as reported by RIA Novosti .
It is emphasized that the benefit was increased by 1,200 rubles by the decision of the State Duma, taking into account indexation.
It is also explained that this concerns monthly payments to the specified Russian citizens under 80 years of age.
Increase in pensions
It is emphasized that the amendment will be introduced during the second reading of the decree.
In particular, this refers to the draft law on changes to pension and additional social security for residents of new regions of Russia.
These regions include the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, as well as the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions.
