At a plenary session, the State Duma approved a decree according to which dismissed pregnant citizens of the Russian Federation have the right to receive preferential benefits.
It is emphasized that the amount of the corresponding payment will be equal to the subsistence minimum.
It follows from the above-mentioned regulatory legal act: “We are talking about pregnant women who were dismissed due to the liquidation of organizations or the termination of the activities of a legal entity,” as reported by RIA Novosti .
In addition, the payment will be due to Russian women whose monthly professional activity ended due to “the termination of the individuals’ activity as individual entrepreneurs.”
It is reported that the above-mentioned bill will officially come into force on March 1, 2025.
This regulatory legal act also envisages expanding the responsibilities of Russian legal entities licensed to provide employment services for Russian citizens abroad.
Thus, in particular, such companies must submit a notification of the commencement of their activities.
It is expected that Rostrud will include information about such companies in the unified register of notifications.
