The Social Fund told pensioners when to expect an indexed pension
The Social Fund shared details about the upcoming indexation of social benefits.
All funds allocated for this are already available in the budget.
The head of the Russian Social Fund, Sergei Chirkov, made this statement at a plenary session of the State Duma, RIA Novosti reports.
The Social Fund reminded about the upcoming indexation of pensions, which is scheduled for the end of December 2024 - January 2025.
It is noted that this concerns payments to both working and non-working pensioners.
Those who are scheduled to receive their pensions at the beginning of January will receive payments ahead of schedule, as is traditional. In December, such categories of citizens can already count on an indexed pension.
As for those citizens who receive their pension later, they will be paid an indexed pension in January.
Chirkov also emphasized that a total of 106 billion rubles will be allocated. This amount will go toward paying pensions to working pensioners.
