Some Russians are still willing to pay impressive sums for products made from natural fur.
Analysts have learned that in 2023, 100 million rubles were paid for the most expensive fur product.
This is the amount paid for an imported lynx vest, Izvestia writes, citing information from the state marking system “Honest Sign”.
The vest was made in Italy. It was bought in Moscow on the eve of the New Year.
The price of the product is 1410 times higher than the average cost of fur items that Russians bought in 2023.
On average, buyers paid 70.9 thousand rubles for fur items.
2024 has not yet broken last year's record. This year (January-May) the most expensive item in this category so far is a fur coat for 18 million rubles.
Earlier, a Russian businessman lashed out at customers who were outraged by the price of 120 thousand rubles for cheese.
