The Central Bank of Russia has published recommendations for credit institutions regarding borrowers from the emergency zone in the Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod regions.
The regulator announced the need to provide such citizens with the opportunity to restructure their loans in any case.
The Central Bank emphasized: “Russians from the specified regions will be able to apply for a payment deferral for up to six months,” as reported by RIA Novosti .
It is emphasized that credit institutions will have to consider such applications in a simplified manner.
It is reported that the simplification is due to the fact that residents of regions where a state of emergency is in effect are currently forced to evacuate.
The regulator added: “Russians from such zones have the right to request a deferment on loans.”
The Central Bank emphasized that the above-mentioned Russian citizens are currently in a difficult situation.
It is also reported that Russians who have already taken advantage of this benefit have the right to receive it again.
