According to the survey, a person who earns less than 43 thousand rubles a month can be considered poor .
Some respondents named a salary of 45 thousand rubles as the poverty line, while others named 40 thousand rubles, writes RBC with reference to the Superjob service.
At the same time, respondents consider those people who earn more than 860 thousand rubles to be rich.
To achieve happiness, citizens on average want to earn 250 thousand rubles monthly.
In Moscow, this figure reaches 270 thousand rubles for men and 230 thousand rubles for women.
Residents of St. Petersburg only need to receive 240 thousand rubles monthly to be happy.
