Universities and colleges in Russia are being asked not to use foreign software when training specialists in the construction industry.
Students need to learn domestic solutions to use them when applying for a job.
A letter with such a recommendation was written by the association “National Association of Organizations in the Sphere of Information Modeling Technologies,” writes RBC .
The proposal was sent to Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, and the Ministry of Construction.
Developers of Russian software for builders offer students the opportunity to study using Russian solutions.
These skills will help specialists in future employment.
Most educational institutions in Moscow use domestic software for construction when teaching students.
However, in a number of regions of the Russian Federation, they are still training to work on foreign software due to the lack of Russian software.
