Russia has increased scholarships for a certain category of students
The Cabinet of Ministers has released information that scholarships for a certain category of students have been increased in Russia.
It is emphasized that the corresponding decree was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
It is also indicated that students from creative higher education institutions will be able to apply for an increase in their scholarship, as reported on the official website of the Cabinet of Ministers .
The resolution, in particular, states: “Payments for students will be increased from September 1, 2024.”
Changes in scholarships
It is emphasized that the corresponding benefits will be received by “the most successful and talented students of creative universities.”
The changes will affect the payment of scholarships named after S.V. Rachmaninov, F.I. Shalyapin, A.V. Nezhdanova, G.V. Sviridov and S.T. Richter.
In particular, scholarships named after I.M. Smoktunovsky, S.S. Govorukhin and Bulat Okudzhava will be increased.
The amount of each preferential payment will increase to 15 thousand Russian rubles.
