Rostransnadzor to check Pobeda after pilots complain about pressure and fuel economy
The air carrier will be checked following an appeal from the pilots.
The control and supervision event is organized by specialists from Rostransnadzor.
TASS reported this on Wednesday, August 28, citing representatives of the department.
The reason for the work was media reports. The pilots complained that they faced severe pressure from management.
They prepared a letter outlining the essence of the problem.
For example, it was stated that the planes were loaded with a minimal amount of fuel and were deprived of the opportunity to land at an alternate airfield.
Rostransnadzor paid attention to the situation and decided to look into it. In particular, Pobeda will be checked for compliance with air travel safety requirements.
The department stated that if any violations are recorded, immediate response measures will be taken.
