The restrictive measures proposed by the agency may affect most types of canned food products.
Tightening mandatory labeling, especially in the case of meat, fish and vegetable products, will help to reduce the number of cases of botulism in the future.
It is noted that the introduction of special marking will help reduce the risk of products potentially dangerous to consumers being on the market.
All thanks to the fact that information about canned food producers, after the introduction of mandatory labeling, will be entered into the state data system about companies producing products.
Consequently, if counterfeit or hazardous to consumer health products are detected, they can be promptly withdrawn from circulation.
