Real wages have increased in Russia

Analysts have announced an increase in real wages for Russians.

In June 2024, the indicator increased by 6.2% year-on-year.

RIA Novosti reported this on Wednesday, August 28, citing information from Rosstat.

In June, real wages of Russians increased by 2.5% compared to May.

A comparison of figures for April-June 2023 and the second quarter of 2024 is also provided. In this case, salaries showed an increase of 7.8%.

Rosstat calculated that the average monthly accrued salary amounted to 89,145 rubles at the end of the first month of summer.

In annual terms, the indicator increased by 15.3%. Compared with the May salary, the average amount increased by 3.2%, Rosstat reports.
