Putin announced the decision on unused maternity capital balances
The President proposed allowing the payment of unspent maternity capital.
We are talking about the amount that remains in the account after the main part of the maternity capital has been spent.
The Norzhilov-Batodalayev family from Buryatia and Transbaikalia approached Vladimir Putin with a question about unused balances, TASS reports.
The head of state said that he had already raised this issue earlier. In particular, he discussed it with Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.
It often happens that after spending the main part of the funds, some amount remains in the account.
Putin proposed allowing these remainders to be paid to families.
“We’ll do this first – 10 thousand [rubles]. And then we’ll see,” the president said.
The head of state believes that this money should simply be paid to families without unnecessary bureaucracy.
Earlier it was reported that Russian hotels are planning to introduce non-refundable rates .
