New requirements have become known that will now be imposed on businesses planning to leave Russia.
Now the contributions for such companies will increase even more.
This was reported by the TASS agency with reference to a statement by Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov.
Currently, in order to exit a Russian business, the condition is that the assets be sold at a discount of at least 50%, with the condition that 15% of the market value of the asset be paid to the budget.
Subsequently, the discount will increase from 50% to 60%, while the one-time payment will increase from 15% to 25%. The business must pay this amount within the first month.
However, this is not the only payment that companies will have to make.
In the first year after leaving Russia, businesses will have to pay 5% of the market price and another 5% the following year. Thus, the total amount paid to the budget will increase to 35%.
It is noted that the corresponding decision was made by a subcommittee of the government commission for control over foreign investments.
