Deputy Head of Avilon AG for New Car Sales Renat Tyukteev confirmed that prices for new cars have increased by an average of 3-5%, Kommersant writes.

The increase in recycling fee rates was approved by the Russian government until 2030. The law came into force on October 1, 2024.

The rate for cars, trucks, buses and trailers has increased by 70-85%. Now it will increase annually by 10-20%.
