MTS Bank Names the Largest Fine for Traffic Violations in 2024
It has become known how much the largest fine for traffic violations cost this year.
In 2024, 400 thousand rubles had to be paid for large-sized transport.
RIA Novosti reports this information: the agency’s journalists have a corresponding study by MTS Bank.
Analysts have studied the size of fines that people have received during the current year and have come to the conclusion that overall the size of fines in Russia has increased by 4%. Now the average price is 510 rubles.
Moreover, an absolute anti-record was recorded in the sphere of heavy-duty transport. It is noted that the rule prohibiting the movement of large-sized transport exceeding the permitted dimensions by 50 cm was violated.
For this, the traffic police punished the violator with a fine of 400 thousand rubles.
The most common traffic violation is speeding. Fines for exceeding the speed limit by 20-40 kilometers per hour account for about a third of all fines in Russia (32.2%).
