The chairman of the party "A Just Russia - For Truth" spoke about the current monetary policy of the Central Bank.
According to Sergei Mironov, the regulator must structure its activities taking into account the fact that Russia is currently confronting the West militarily and politically.
The text of the corresponding letter, which Mironov sent to the head of the Central Bank, Elvira Nabiullina, is at the disposal of RIA Novosti .
As the head of “A Just Russia – For Truth” noted, Western countries will try at all costs to restrain the development of the country’s economy.
In this regard, the Central Bank should reconsider its monetary policy and look for new ways to maintain stability in the situation.
Among the solutions proposed by Mironov is the establishment of a temporary special rate, which critically important industries and enterprises can count on.
The policy of constantly raising the key rate leads to a cooling and slowdown in economic development and, as a consequence, stagflation.
Mironov recalled that food inflation now makes up a third of all global inflation. And therefore this industry needs special rates for lending, for example, in the region of 3-5%.
