Ministry of Industry and Trade: indexation of recycling fee will not affect the cost of Russian-made cars
The Ministry of Industry and Trade commented on the information that appeared on Monday about the indexation of the recycling fee.
The department emphasized that this measure will not affect the cost of Russian cars.
The relevant information was published on the official website of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation .
It is noted that containing the growth of prices for domestic cars is possible due to support measures provided by the state.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade announced its intention to gradually increase the recycling fee earlier on Monday.
According to the agency, the issue concerns an increase in rates by 70-85% starting this year and a subsequent increase in the cost of recycling fees by 10-20% annually.
It is noted that this measure may affect the following types of vehicles:
- passenger cars;
- low-tonnage freight transport;
- trucks;
- buses;
- trailers and semi-trailers.
If the gradual indexation is introduced, then the cost of the recycling fee will increase until 2030.
