The Association of Internet Trade Companies has addressed the State Duma deputies with an important request.
They ask not to set a limit on the size of the installment plan for marketplace buyers.
This appeal is related to the discussed bill on limiting installment payments to 15 thousand rubles, writes RBC .
AKIT believes that such a restriction could significantly reduce the availability of important goods and services for consumers.
The Association sent a letter to the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Financial Markets, Anatoly Aksakov.
The letter emphasizes that limiting installment payments to 15 thousand rubles will reduce buyers’ access to important goods and services.
If the limit is introduced, buyers will not be able to purchase household appliances, furniture, services, some clothing or footwear in installments.
AKIT believes that such a restriction could lead to a decrease in sales on marketplaces.
As a result, important goods will become less accessible to most consumers.
