The President of Belarus has proposed radical measures to combat low prices for potash fertilizers.

According to the head of state, it is necessary to reduce production by 10-11%.

Alexander Lukashenko made this proposal to the new head of the Belaruskali enterprise, BELTA reports.

The President of Belarus expressed his indignation over the established prices for potash fertilizers.

As the president noted, he cannot remember prices in history being as low as they are now. And this is despite the fact that the miners' work, in his opinion, is quite hard.

In this regard, the head of state proposed taking appropriate measures and reducing fertilizer production by 10-11%, depending on how this step is viewed in Russia.

According to Lukashenko, such measures will not lead to a shortage of fertilizers on the market. However, such a step will be able to demonstrate to buyers that the products are valuable and should not, in his opinion, cost too little.
