Keremet Bank announced the suspension of transfers to Russia for an indefinite period.

Another major bank in Kyrgyzstan has decided to suspend cooperation with the Russian side.

Keremet has stopped money transfers via mobile applications of Sberbank, MTS Bank, T-Bank and the Russian operator JSC NSPK, TASS reports.

The decision concerns both payment directions. The period until which this measure will be in effect has not been determined.

But at the same time it is reported that international systems are still available. We are talking about "Golden Crown", "Astrasenda", Western Union, Unistream, Ria.

A day earlier, the Kyrgyz MBank made a similar decision. The financial and credit organization announced that it would continue to cooperate only with those Russian banks that were not subject to Western sanctions.

In 2024, the United States and other countries imposing anti-Russian sanctions focused on countries whose organizations help Russia circumvent restrictions.

The targets include the post-Soviet countries of Central Asia, China, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and a number of other states that continue to interact with Russia in various areas.
