Kazakhstan's Home Credit Bank has announced the termination of cooperation with the Russian bank VTB in Kazakhstan.
As the foreign credit institution explained, it fears secondary sanctions.
Home Credit Bank, in particular, explained: “In connection with the sanctions that are in effect against JSC DO Bank VTB Kazakhstan, we have decided to terminate cooperation,” as reported by TASS .
According to the Kazakh bank, it also fears unpleasant consequences for the clients themselves.
It is stated that Home Credit Bank has stopped “all transfer operations in tenge and foreign currency.”
Now VTB Kazakhstan account holders will not be able to carry out the above manipulations.
The credit institution urged clients to contact specialists via a special numbered channel.
