Against this backdrop, rumors emerged that the retailer was looking for buyers for its business in Russia and was considering Gazprombank as one of the candidates.
According to information obtained by Monde, negotiations on the sale of the business are allegedly in the final stages.
At the same time, the Russian division of Auchan itself refuses to comment on these rumors.
