They use the State Services portal and the Gosklyuch electronic signature application to be more credible.
Having gained access to the victim’s personal account on “Gosuslugi,” the scammers upload a fake notarized power of attorney to manage all accounts.
Then the victim receives a message about the need to sign a document in the GosKlyuch.
Then a call occurs, informing the victim of the urgency of signing the power of attorney due to a threat to the accounts.
Later, a call comes from a real law enforcement officer, who informs the person that he has become a victim of fraud.
