As specified in the publication, the FAS has begun to check the commodity chain “from fisherman to counter”.
The agency has already sent inquiries to companies involved in the procurement of fish products.

It is noted that the agency is primarily interested in the cost of the fish that Russians most often buy. A significant part of the food basket is pink salmon, pollock, cod, haddock and herring.
