The ideal month to look for a job is August, writes Moscow 24. The last month of summer is favorable for job seekers for at least two reasons.
During this period, the holiday season ends and employers begin to look for new employees; quite a lot of interesting vacancies appear.
At the same time, competition is lower. Most potential applicants show low activity in August. The peak usually occurs in September-October, and a decline occurs in November.
If you can’t find your dream job in August, there are still December and January, the HR specialist said.
At the end and beginning of the year, companies begin to budget for staff positions for the future, and new vacancies open up.
But the competition among applicants will be higher than in August, since many people at the beginning of the year dream of new achievements.
There is also quite a lot of activity in the spring, but in May everything calms down due to the holidays.
June is suitable for professionals looking for work in the service and tourism sectors.
