Associate Professor of the Department of Economics at the RTU MIREA Institute Sergei Klishko said that prices for seasonal food products may fall.
According to the expert, some specific groups of goods will also become cheaper.
In a conversation with Lenta.ru , the economist noted: “Real estate, train and air tickets may become cheaper.”
In addition, hotel business services will also become more accessible to Russians with an average income.
However, according to Klishko, a massive drop in the cost of goods and services should not be expected.
The reason is that the growth of the population's income is happening faster than the economy is reacting to it.
At the same time, incomes are not growing as significantly as consumer goods are produced and as certain services that are important to Russians emerge.
Due to the existing asymmetry, according to the expert, the fall in prices for certain products or services will occur gradually, without any sudden changes.
