Russian economist assesses the likelihood of the ruble collapsing.

Financial expert Nikolai Kulbaka doubts that Russians will see the dollar at 150 rubles in the future.

In an interview with NEWS.ru, the specialist stated that the likelihood of this happening is almost zero in the foreseeable future.

According to him, Russians should not expect a collapse of the national currency against the dollar in the near future.

Today, the exchange rate is determined mainly by changes in exports and imports.

Kulbaka stressed that in the next 6 months, if nothing extraordinary happens, the rate will remain stable.

Donald Trump's coming to power will not affect the ruble exchange rate, an expert believes.

According to him, the American politician has nothing to do with the price of the currency.

For $1 to be worth 150 rubles, something extraordinary must happen.

If we look at the situation in the current environment, a sharp jump in USD is not expected.

Kulbaka believes that in the near future the rate will remain at the level of 98-100 rubles.

When exports dominate, the rate falls. If imports prevail, the dollar rises.

Based on this, the rate will fluctuate, but we are not talking about sharp jumps.
