Russians have been warned that the deadline for paying property taxes this year ends on December 2.
There is less than a month left to make payments.
The Federal Tax Service has sent notices to property owners, RIA Novosti reports.
Russians can receive information by mail or electronically through their “personal account”.
The notice specifies taxes for 2023: on transport, land, real estate, as well as personal income tax.
Rates for property, land and transport may vary by region.
The tax amount may also change due to changes in property valuation or the availability of tax incentives.
This year, for the first time, a tax was charged on interest on deposits exceeding 150 thousand rubles.
Only the amount that exceeds this limit is taxed.
Taxpayers will have to pay an additional 2% on total income exceeding 5 million rubles for the previous year.
Late paid taxes will be subject to a penalty for each day of delay.
