In Belarus, quick-cooking buckwheat from a Russian manufacturer has been included in the register of hazardous products.

The State Standard has recognized buckwheat produced by Vega-Engineering from Barnaul as dangerous.

The Committee banned the import and sale of cereals in Belarusian stores due to the product's non-compliance with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union, the portal "Products and Services of the Republic of Belarus" reports.

The agency's statement emphasizes that the information about the food product on the packaging is false.

In particular, the cooking time of buckwheat does not correspond to quality indicators. The cereal, as it turned out, is cooked until ready for 29 minutes, although it should be ready in 25 minutes.
