Ingushetia faced abnormal heat and lack of rain.

This led to the loss of crops, which became the reason for the introduction of a state of emergency in the region.

This decision was announced on the website of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic on Wednesday, August 14.

Authorities have received more than 200 complaints from farmers reporting crop losses.

The heat damaged crops on an area of over 26 thousand hectares. This is 38% of the total crop area of Ingushetia.

At the current moment, the amount of damage is estimated at almost 376 million rubles.

The region is experiencing abnormal heat. Daytime air temperatures exceed +35°C. At the same time, there has been no rain for 10 or more days.

To obtain a good harvest, the Ministry of Agriculture used fertilizers, high-quality planting material, and plant protection products, but the lack of sufficient precipitation still led to the loss of the crop.
