When buying this fruit, it is important to choose it correctly, otherwise the chance of enjoying it will be sharply reduced.

The first thing you need to pay attention to is how hard the fruit is. To do this, you should press it a little and if it is soft, but does not press too deeply, then it can be eaten. Also, there should be no spots or cracks on it, as this indicates that the fruit is overripe.

Usually, stores sell unripe fruits, so when you get home, you can leave them at room temperature for a few days to ripen.

How to eat avocado correctly

To peel an avocado, you need to make a cut down to the pit along the entire surface of the fruit and turn the two halves in opposite directions from each other.

The fruit should be easy to separate. Next, you need to remove the pit and clean the pulp.

This can be done with a spoon or special tools for peeling avocados. It is better to eat the fruit immediately, as it tends to darken and lose its benefits.

Typically, avocados contain about 160-170 kcal per 100 g of product and differ from their relatives by their high content of vegetable fats. However, Florida avocados contain less fat and their caloric content is only 110-120 kcal per 100 g.

Based on all of the above, we can conclude that avocado is an excellent choice for those who have decided to lose weight or eat right.

The fruit itself cannot cause much harm to the body, but one should be very careful if a person has an individual intolerance to this fruit.
