Not all side dishes go well with fish.
And if rice is the most obvious of them, then the question may subsequently arise as to what else fish goes with.
Culinary expert of HERE NEWS, cook and fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova is ready to list you a few more options for suitable side dishes.
One of the suitable companions of fish is considered to be bulgur. This cereal made of wheat with a pronounced nutty taste goes well with any kind of fish: both red and white.
Another option is couscous, which is also made from processed wheat groats. Preparing couscous is as easy as pie: the groats are simply filled with water and seasoned with spices and salt.
Almost any vegetables also go well with fish. Especially good when paired with fatty varieties are cauliflower stewed in cream, green pea puree and traditional summer vegetable salad made from fresh vegetables.
