Lactose intolerance is quite common among people.

And if you want a cup of coffee with milk, it’s better not to take risks and add other ingredients to the drink.

Let's figure out how to make a drink at home that's no worse than what professional baristas can do.

Even if you are lactose intolerant or do not drink milk for ethical reasons, you can still indulge in a cup of the delicious drink.

The following ingredients can be used as an alternative:

  • Coconut milk, which will add a tropical touch to the drink. Just keep in mind that the coconut flavor may overpower the coffee.
  • Rice milk, which has a sweeter taste than cow's milk. This is the advantage of this ingredient: there is no need to add sugar.
  • Soy milk, which is the most common substitute for cow's milk, may impart a slight bean flavor to the drink.
  • Almond milk, which gives the drink a subtle nutty flavor.

You can also add oat milk to the drink, which has the most neutral taste of all the above.
