Many people practice vegetarianism, but its principle is often not to the liking of all family members.
Let's figure out how to cook cutlets that even die-hard meat eaters will love.
Culinary expert, chef and fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova shares practical advice.
200 ml each of green lentils and jasmine round rice, 1 carrot, 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 1 tablespoon of flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, 0.5 teaspoon of asafoetida.
Lentils need to be soaked overnight. The next day, boil rice, grate carrots on a coarse grater, and puree with a blender.
Grind the swollen lentils, mix with chopped carrots and rice, grind with a blender. Add the remaining ingredients - asafoetida, vegetable oil, salt and flour.
Mix the minced meat well, form balls from it and put them in the frying pan. After frying the resulting cutlets on all sides, pour 300 ml of water into the dish and add spices: coriander, asafoetida, ground bay leaf and salt (to taste).
Simmer the dish for 25-30 minutes until done.
