Scientists have revealed a diet that slows down aging and improves health.
Experts from the University of Southern California (USA) have found that intermittent fasting can “shake up” the body and reduce biological age.
We are talking about a diet called the Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD).
It does not involve any radical changes in eating habits and requires changing your diet only 5 days a month, reports Nature Communications .
The idea is to eat foods with a lot of unsaturated fats. You need to consume a minimum of calories, carbohydrates and proteins 5 days a month.
The rest of the time you can eat as usual, nutritionists say.
During this short period, vegetable soups, lean foods, tea, and natural bars are allowed.
The uniqueness of the diet is that it imitates fasting. The body receives all the necessary nutrients.
At the same time, nutritionists say that FMD allows you to rejuvenate the body, slow down its aging and improve health.
Earlier we talked about the rules of the buckwheat diet.
