Sometimes, by the end of cooking, there is still quite a lot of water left in the rice.

This can cause the dish to turn into a sticky mess.

However, the situation can be corrected with a piece of bread or a cracker.

Place these ingredients in a saucepan, cover with a lid and let stand for about ten minutes.

The bread should absorb the moisture and ultimately the dish will be saved.

You can also rinse the rice with cold water. It is only advisable to use boiled water.

Alternatively, rice can be placed in a hot frying pan or oven and dried for five minutes.

Secrets of Perfect Rice

To make rice tasty and crumbly, you need to follow some rules when preparing it.

Before cooking, rice should be thoroughly rinsed with cold water.

You can also pre-soak it for 30 or 60 minutes. This procedure will reduce the cooking time.

It is also important to consider the amount of water. For medium-grain or long-grain rice, one part of dry product will require two parts of liquid.
