Recipe for delicious cauliflower in the oven: how experienced housewives cook it

Delicious cauliflower baked in the oven with spices will be simply magnificent.

It is worth noting that it will be very spicy, especially for lovers of such dishes.

If you don’t like spicy food, don’t despair, you can exclude all hot spices, and cauliflower in the oven will reveal a completely different face to you, says Yulia Arkhipova .

Ingredients

  • Head of cauliflower – 1 kg;
  • curry powder (spice) – 1 teaspoon;
  • kefir 2% – 200 ml;
  • citric acid – the second part of a teaspoon;
  • cumin – 1 teaspoon;
  • salt - 2 teaspoons;
  • garlic - two crushed cloves
  • sunflower oil – 1 tbsp;
  • ground black pepper – half a teaspoon.

Preparation

First, the cauliflower needs to be cleaned of dirt, and the green leaves need to be torn off, even inside the cabbage they need to be cut out if you can’t reach them with your hands.

We wash the cabbage without leaves under running water, then give it some time to dry.

Take a wide container that will fit this head of cabbage, pour kefir into the bowl, add citric acid, caraway seeds, crushed (chopped) garlic, curry seasoning, salt and chopped pepper.

Mix thoroughly, then take a head of cabbage and place the container with the marinade crown down.

Take a tablespoon and pour the marinade over the insides of the cabbage. Roll the crown completely in the kefir marinade.

Take a baking tray that will fit the head, grease it with sunflower oil, lay out the cabbage and place it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.

Bake for 1 hour 30 minutes, periodically pouring the rest of the marinade. The marinade will give the cabbage a browned crust. The cabbage can be served whole or cut.
