A wonderful hearty dinner - a casserole - can be prepared from potatoes with minced meat.
For the casserole, take 5 large potatoes, 500 g of minced meat, 2 cups of milk, 3 tablespoons of butter and flour, 250 g of hard cheese, half a bunch of green onions, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper.
The minced meat is fried in a frying pan, mixed with chopped onion. Salted and peppered, says Yulia Arkhipova .
Peeled raw potatoes are cut into thin slices.
Place a layer of potatoes in a greased form. Salt and pepper. Place half of the minced meat on top.
Repeat the layout.
Melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in flour, add salt and pepper to taste. Stir in milk and cook until thickened.
Remove the sauce from the heat, add grated cheese. Stir.
Pour the sauce over the casserole. Cover with foil and bake in a preheated oven (175 degrees) for 1.5 hours. Remove the foil 20 minutes before the dish is ready.
