Caviar can be made not only from zucchini and other seasonal vegetables.
An excellent option for a hearty snack is mushroom caviar, made from delicious chanterelles.
Culinary expert of HERE NEWS, cook and fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova will share with you a proven recipe.
To prepare the mushroom appetizer you will need:
Mushrooms need to be chopped using a blender or a meat grinder. Then pour half the oil into a frying pan, add chanterelles and simmer the mushrooms on low heat for an hour.
In the remaining oil, fry the coarsely grated carrots and chopped onion. 6-8 minutes is enough.
Combine the vegetable frying and mushrooms, add pepper and salt to taste. The mixture needs to be stewed for about 20 minutes more.
A couple of minutes before the mushroom caviar is ready, you need to pour vinegar into it if you plan to roll up the dish under lids.
