So, if the time has passed, but the rice is not ready and the water has not yet been absorbed, the solution is simple. Close the container and cook the cereal until done.
If all the liquid has evaporated and the rice is still raw, then you should do the following.
Add a quarter cup of boiling water to the pan, cover with a lid and cook for another 5 minutes. After this, do not immediately remove the lid from the pan: let the porridge sit for another 10 minutes.
If you don't want to add water, you can cook the dish another way. Put the rice in a bowl, put it in the microwave and cook for two minutes.
As a rule, this time is enough for the cereal to be fully cooked.
